Studio Policies

  • Welcome to Ima Yoga! We are so happy you’re practicing with us!

    We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early prior to your first class so that you have time to find parking, sign any waivers or other paper work needed with the front desk, and set up your mat and towel before class. Late comers are given a 5 minute grace period. For respect of our instructors and your fellow students, we do not permit anyone after the 5 minute grace period, no exceptions.

    We offer mat and towel rentals for $5 each. We also have mat and towels as well as other yoga attire available for purchase at the studio.

    We do provide lockers and cubbies free for student use on a first come, first serve basis. Ima Yoga is not responsible for any lost items.

    We have 3 unisex bathrooms with soap and showers available for our students to use. We ask that you bring your own towels if you are using our shower.

  • Our system requires a 2 hour notice before the class begins for you to be able to cancel your class. You can cancel your class through the MindBody app, the Ima Yoga app, or through calling the studio or emailing us.

    Failure to cancel your class within this time frame will result in a $10 cancellation fee. Failure for no notice and not showing up to a class will result in a $20 no show fee.

  • Our membership is a 4 month minimum commitment, meaning we cannot pause/freeze or cancel your membership until after the 4 months. If you wish to cancel your membership after this period, we require a 30 day written notice via email in order to cancel.

  • Membership suspensions (“freeze”) are permitted, but require a minimum 14 day notice to align with the reoccurring payment cycle of your membership. You may “freeze” your account for a minimum 2 weeks up to 90 days per calendar year. Lastly, membership suspension may not be made retroactively.

  • All purchases made at Ima Yoga, including but not limited to classes, workshops, teacher trainings, retail items, and memberships, are non-refundable. We kindly ask that you consider your purchase carefully before completing your transaction.

    In the rare event that a refund is granted due to extenuating circumstances, it will be issued in the form of studio credit only, to be used toward future services or retail purchases. Studio credit is non-transferable and must be used within 12 months of the issue date.

  • We are an infared hot yoga studio; our classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older.

    In addition, children under 16 may not sit in the reception are while a parent or guardian takes a class, unless they are accompanied by another parent or guardian. Our front desk / studio attendants are not required to supervise children.

Studio ettiquette

  • Please keep mobile phones out of the studio to maintain a distraction-free zone.

  • Embrace the silence during class to allow everyone, including yourself, to fully immerse in the experience.

  • Store your shoes and personal items in a locker to keep our space neat and tidy.

  • Arrive on time to ensure you get the full benefit of the class and to respect the flow for everyone. No late comers permitted after 5 minutes - no exceptions.

  • And most importantly, kindness is key. Respect for your fellow classmates and our staff makes our studio a better place for all.
